Privacy Policy
This notice sets out how Rainbet handles the personal information of people who register, play, or simply browse our website. It covers what we hold, the legal grounds we rely on, how long records are kept, and the choices available to you.
Information collected when you use Rainbet
Registration requires your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address, telephone number and chosen currency. Identity documentation — typically a passport or driving licence together with a recent utility bill or bank statement — is requested at verification stage in order to satisfy the anti-money-laundering and age-assurance conditions attached to our licence.
Once an account is live we record transactional and gameplay information: deposits, withdrawals, payment references, bonus claims, stakes, game outcomes, session timestamps and any limits or exclusions you apply. This record is what allows us to reconstruct a disputed transaction accurately.
Technical details are captured automatically each time you connect, including IP address, approximate location derived from it, device model, operating system, browser build and referring page. We also retain copies of correspondence sent to our support team, including live chat transcripts and recorded telephone calls where applicable.
Purposes and lawful bases for processing
Most processing is necessary to perform the contract you enter into when you open a Rainbet account: crediting deposits, settling wagers, paying withdrawals and answering your queries would all be impossible without it.
A separate body of processing exists because the law requires it. Verifying age, screening against sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists, retaining financial records and reporting suspicious activity are obligations imposed by our regulator and by applicable financial-crime legislation, not optional business choices.
We rely on legitimate interests for fraud detection, bonus-abuse investigation, network security, debugging and aggregated performance reporting. Direct marketing — email campaigns, SMS offers and personalised promotions — is sent only where you have given consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any moment through the preferences page or the unsubscribe link in any message.
Who your information is shared with
Rainbet does not sell personal data. We do disclose it to a limited set of parties who make the service function: payment institutions and card acquirers, identity-verification and sanctions-screening providers, game studios supplying content, cloud hosting and content-delivery vendors, and specialist customer-support platforms.
Each processor is bound by a written agreement that limits them to our documented instructions and obliges them to maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures. They may not use your information for purposes of their own.
Disclosure to the Anjouan Gaming Authority, to law-enforcement agencies, to financial-intelligence units or to a court will be made where a valid legal request is received. Where processing involves a transfer outside the UK or EEA, we put standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard in place beforehand.
Security measures and retention periods
Connections to Rainbet are encrypted in transit using current TLS standards, identity documents are stored in encrypted form with access restricted to trained verification staff, and administrative access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication and is logged for later review.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed perfectly secure. You share responsibility for account safety: choose a password you use nowhere else, enable two-factor authentication in your profile, and never disclose your credentials to anyone claiming to represent Rainbet — our staff will never ask for your password.
Account, transaction and verification records are retained for a minimum of five years following account closure, in line with anti-money-laundering rules. Server logs and technical diagnostics are ordinarily discarded within twelve months, and marketing lists are purged once consent is withdrawn or after a sustained period of inactivity, whichever comes first.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, request correction of anything inaccurate, object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask for a portable export of the information you supplied to us, or request erasure. Erasure is limited in practice, because records we are legally obliged to keep — and any details recorded against a self-exclusion — cannot be deleted on request.
Requests are answered within one calendar month. We will verify your identity first so that nobody else can obtain your file, and we will explain our reasoning in writing if we are unable to comply fully.
